T. Joseph Sikora, CPA
Director of Internal Audit

Joe joined the Rutgers Internal Audit Department as Director in 1984. He has over 30 years of audit experience, beginning his career as a public accountant with the CPA firm of Haskins & Sells in New York City. After 5 years with the firm, Joe moved to internal auditing as an audit manager at Chemical Bank.

Joe is a graduate of Rutgers-Newark (NCAS Economics, 1972) and the Graduate School of Management (MBA - Accounting, 1973).

Joe serves as Internal Audit's primary contact to the University community, including the Audit Committee of the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees.

Joe is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of College and University Auditors. He is also a member of the Little 10+ Chief Audit Executives, comprised of audit directors from 25 of the country's largest comprehensive research institutions.
